On the assumption that Parliament will eventually have to move, this project, still in its infancy, proposes the replacement of the existing Palace of Westminster with alternative structures such as the one illustrated.
COMMENT The cartoons by Steve Bell in the Guardian suggest a suitable enclosure for Big Ben. I shall enjoy finding out what the response will be. A series of mobile Edukit type structures, for example, could help enable open government. The AJ could headline with “Rollover Sir Charles and tell Augustus the news”. Or, more constructively, a fleet of hovercraft could tour the country spreading information services.
nb This scheme is in no way part of a plot to succeed where Guy Fawkes failed just over 400 years ago.
